Sporting Director: AS Roma Did Not Bid For OGBONNA

The Sporting Director of Torino, Gianluca Petrachi, has told Italian media that Roma were not interested in the signature of the Italian international of Nigeria descent Angelo Ogbonna in the summer transfer market.
Tuttomercatoweb.com citing Teleradiostereo quoted Petrachi as saying: ''It is an understatement the names of the teams. Players so strong are requested by many teams. Roma did not make an official request, did some probing. However, I have a good relationship with the leadership, in particular with Sabatini''.
Currently undergoing rehabilitation, Ogbonna could be reinstated to the first team when Torino host AS Roma next Monday.
24 - year - old Ogbonna is also reportedly on the wishlist of Italian giants AC Milan in the winter market.
