Israeli Federation Bans BELLO For Four Matches
Published: November 15, 2012
Bnei Sakhnin attacker Yero Bello has been banned for four matches by the Israeli Association following his red card offense in the last round of matches against Beitar Jerusalem.
It would be recalled that Bello made an obscene gesture to the fans of Beitar Jerusalem, by holding his genitals, when he was dismissed by the referee late in the second half.
The club's internal disciplinary committee had earlier fined him 2,400 dollars(equivalent of =N=360,000). In addition, he was told to avoid future occurrence or risk additional $15,000 fine.
As a result of Bello's suspension, he is unavailable for games against Maccabi Haifa, Maccabi Netanya, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ironi Kiryat.
