Published: November 15, 2012
Norwegian - Nigerian agent Atta Aneke has commented on the contract situation of one of his clients, Sarpsborg's Stanley Ihugba.
The midfielder becomes a free agent at the end of this month, and is stalling on renewing his contract with Sarpsborg, who have offered him a new two - year deal.
''We have one offer from an Adeccoligaen club which we are evaluating and also awaiting another offer hopefully today. Hopefully, it will materialize into a concrete offer in the coming weeks ,'' Aneke disclosed to allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
The player, himself, earlier claimed to be on the wishlist of Danish club Viborg.
Adds Aneke: ''Ihugba told me the same thing that a scout called to tell him of the interest from Viborg. I wasn't aware they wanted him.''
Ihugba, 25, arrived Norway in January 2009 from Nigeria Premier League club Heartland of Owerri.
