Exclusive: KIM OJO Rejected Kuban Krasnodar; Waiting For MOURINHO's Phone Call
Published: November 23, 2012
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com's Editorial Staff, SK Brann attacker Kim Ojo rejected a move to Russian Premier League club FC Kuban Krasnodar in the summer transfer market.
Respected Swedish agent Patrick Mork, who represents Kalmar's Abiola Dauda, brokered the deal that would have seen Ojo leave Western Norway for Russia.
In fact, Kuban were prepared to meet Brann's three million euros valuation of Kim Ojo. In addition, The Frogs were willing to offer him annual wages of more than one million euros.
But Ojo pulled the plug on the impending move, declaring that he would only leave Brann if he gets a phone call from Real Madrid gaffer Jose Mourinho to sign for the Spanish giants.
Everything is pointing to the fact that Ojo will reject the advances of Racing Genk despite the Belgian club reaching an agreement - in - principle with SK Brann.
Ojo was taken to Norway by respected Norwegian - Nigerian agent Atta Aneke four years ago. He has been a huge success, scoring 64 goals in 134 matches for Nybergsund-Trysil and Brann.
