NOAH OJUOLA Suffers Back Injury During Training
Published: November 26, 2012
19 - year - old FC Midtjylland defender Noah Olawale Ojuola has ruled himself out of Monday evening's Danish Superliga match against AGF after picking up a slight back injury in training on Sunday.
''I was involved in a duel with an attacker during practice and I ended up worse, landed awkwardly at my back. I went to see a doctor today (Monday, ed) and had a massage. Hopefully, in the next three days, I will resume training with the squad,''Ojuola told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
Ojuola's last game in the Danish championship was against SønderjyskE on October 1. Since then, the youngster has failed to make coach Glen Riddersholm's starting eleven.
''There are many players fighting for a first team shirt. When I was fielded I gave my best. It is the decision of the coach, he selects the players and we must all respect that. I know my time will come soon,'' says the former FC Ebedei talent.
The defender earns 17,000 Danish Krone (equivalent of $3,000 ) every month at the Herning based club.
