EFE AMBROSE Unhappy With Home Loss
Published: November 26, 2012
Celtic defender Efe Ambrose has made a vow that he and his teammates will not lose again at home this season.
The Hoops were stunned by Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-0 at Parkhead on Saturday which prompted the fans to react angrily.
Manager Neil Lennon copped the brunt of the abuse and centre-back Ambrose wants to ensure that does not occur again by getting back to winning ways at Celtic Park.
''I am short of words as losing at home is not something any of us enjoy and everyone was silent afterwards. We are most unhappy at the situation. I don’t believe it was really that bad a game for us against Inverness, but we just could not get the ball into the net.
''From now on, we will make sure this never happens again at Celtic Park. You can’t just do it with words though, we have to say it on the pitch.
''I believe we will go back to the training ground and put everything into place. We still believe in ourselves and will work extra hard to do it,'' said Ambrose.
