Exclusive: Cologne Intensify Pursuit Of ANTHONY OKPOTU
Published: December 10, 2012
Cologne have intensified their pursuit of the hot - in - demand Lobi Stars ace Anthony Okpotu.
The scouting team at the traditional German club had been studying the videos and curriculum vitae of the Super Eagles invitee, with the intention of inviting him for trials.
Now, the representatives of Okpotu have received positive feedback from Cologne and the club could invite the striker for tests in the coming days. In fact, they were impressed with Okpotu's videos and described him as a future star.
Note that Cologne face genuine competition from Norwegians SK Brann for the signature of Anthony Okpotu. He is scheduled for tests with the Tippeligaen club in January.
Lagging behind in the scramble for Okpotu are Hamburg and Rapid Vienna. Allnigeriasoccer.com values him at 250,000 euros.
