HARMONY IKANDE To Test With Ironi Ramat Hasharon
Published: December 10, 2012
Ironi Ramat Hasharon will have a distinguished trialist in the coming days. Former Nigeria youth - teamer and AC Milan trainee Harmony Ikande has been invited to train with the Israeli Premier League outfit before he is offered a contract, writes Sports Walla.
Presently operating on a shoestring budget, Ironi Ramat Hasharon do not have the financial muscle to add to their playing staff. And a decision on whether Ikande would be signed or not can only be made if the economy improves.
''We do not have money to sign players. We are working on it and if we raise what we want, Ikande comes,'' chairman of the club Danny Laufer was quoted as saying by sports.walla.co.il.
This past summer, Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes did not offer Harmony Ikande a contract after three weeks of tests. It would be his second spell in Israel if he clinches the deal with Ironi Ramat Hasharon. He had a brief stint with Beitar Jerusalem earlier in the year.
