BROWN IDEYE: My Work Is To Be The Best
Published: December 11, 2012
Sport Express, a member of the prestigious European Sports Media, has chosen Dynamo Kiev forward Brown Ideye as the best player in the Ukrainian championship for the month of November and December.
Ideye scored five times in the month of November. The Super Eagle has assessed his performance in the Premier League in the period under review.
''As a rule, I try not to do assessments myself- this is for the fans and you journalists. I think my matches with Arsenal and Metallurg Zaporozhye helped Dynamo to achieve some success, but this is for me the most important thing. My work is to be the best,'' says Ideye to Sport-Express Ukraine.
With 13 goals in 17 games, Ideye is the second highest goalscorer in the championship, 5 goals behind Shakhtar Donetsk's Henrikh Mkhitaryan. He plans to compete for the top scorer award in the UPL.
He told SE: ''Of course, it would be nice, but it is not a priority. For me, the great success of my team, and if my goals will lead to triumph in the race for the goalscorer award, I 'l be sincerely happy.''
