To secure his freedom, the leadership of Ismaily has told the 28 - year - old attacker to pay the sum of $50,000 and waive all the outstanding dues he is being owed.
Godwin has not participated in any official match for Ismaily this season as a result of the domestic ban. Thus, he is angling for a move outside Egypt.
Current champions of Iraq, Erbil Sports Club are understood to be in pole position to land Godwin's signature but they face competition from clubs in North Africa especially Sudan.
