New Kid On The Block, IMOH EZEKIEL Targets 15 Goals
Published: December 17, 2012
New kid on the block Imoh Ezekiel netted his tenth goal of the season against Mechelen last weekend. The Standard Liege teenage sensation has set for himself an achievable target of 15 goals before the end of the current campaign in May.
''Before the start of the season, I wanted to score 10 goals. I am there. Now, I have increased it to 15 goals, '' the former 36 Lion ace was quoted as saying by DH.be.
Ezekiel is also keeping an eye on the top scorer in the Pro League, Club Brugge forward Carlos Bacca.
''I often consult and try to reduce the gap that separates me from Bacca,'' he said.
Following a string of fine displays in his first full season, the management of Standard Liege has reevaluated Ezekiel's contract, and he is expected to sign the new deal in the coming days.
