Timothy Anjembe Ponders Future In VietnamVissai Ninh Binh new signing Timothy Anjembe has regretted his decision to remain in the Vietnamese championship. In October, the striker revealed that he snubbed offers from abroad to put put pen to paper on a one - year contract with Vissai Ninh Binh.

Due to the poor finances of clubs, the V - League which usually starts sometime in January or late December has been postponed by two months and will now begin in March.

''We are starting the league behind schedule because of the poor financial difficulties clubs are experiencing, so it was shifted by the Federation. So many clubs are now disbanded including my former club Hanoi FC.

''There were 14 clubs in the championship but this has been reduced to 12. I signed before the whole scenario started . But maybe it is my destiny. If the financial situation does not improve, I won't be extending my contract,'' Anjembe, who scored 17 goals in 26 matches last season, told allnigeriasoccer.com.

Vissai Ninh Binh will start pre - season training on January 2. It is very likely that the club will train in Vietnam instead of traveling abroad to cut costs.
