World Exclusive: Glasgow Celtic In Pursuit Of Juwon Oshaniwa
Published: January 04, 2013
Scotland powerhouse Glasgow Celtic are keen on MS Ashdod full back Juwon Oshaniwa in the January transfer window, a club insider has specially informed allnigeriasoccer.com.
Oshaniwa, 22, only arrived MS Ashdod in the past summer transfer market from domestic club Sharks. Now, the Nigeria international is set to quit Israel after only four months.
''Celtic are definitely looking to bring a Nigerian left back to the club. I am friendly with coach Lennon and he is delighted with Efe Ambrose and his agent.
''I am not convinced the Braga player (Uwa Echiejile, ed) is the target. I think it may be the player from Efe's old club Juwon Oshaniwa,'' the top source informed allnigeriasoccer.com.
Juwon Oshaniwa is tied to the colours of MS Ashdod until the summer of 2016. Allnigeriasoccer.com values the left back at €500,000.
He is managed by top Israeli agent Dudu Dahan who also represents Celtic defender Efe Ambrose.
