Kim Ojo Verbally Attacks Brann's Sporting Director
Published: January 08, 2013
In his first day at training after the winter break, Nigerian striker Kim Ojo verbally attacked Brann's Sporting Director Rolf Magne Walstad, the man who is reportedly stopping him from leaving the Tippeligaen club in the winter transfer market.
When Ojo was questioned if he would be a Brann player at the start of the season in March, he harshly criticized Walstad.
''I don't think so. Brann is not a bad club, but I will not be here anymore. There are things "inside" that do not impress me in the sporting set. I'm not impressed with the "sports director".
'' It's not about the club, there's only one person it is about. He can not stop me. But he is trying to play "funny games" with me,'' Ojo told Bergens Tidende.
Rolf Magne Walstad has told the Norwegian daily he has not thwarted Ojo's ambition of leaving SK Brann. Right now, the only concrete interest for Ojo has come from Racing Genk. But the Nigerian who is under contract until the end of the 2013 season does not want the move to Belgium.
