Nnamdi Oduamadi Targets Late January Return
Published: January 10, 2013
Varese winger Nnamdi Oduamadi is targeting a late January return from injury. The Nigeria international has not made an appearance for the Serie B side after he got injured while training with the Nigeria selection this past summer.
Due to Oduamadi's poor physical condition, he was not considered for selection when Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi named his initial squad for a training camp in Faro, Portugal.
''I am okay now. If the coach selects me, I would be ready for the game against Virtus Lanciano on the 26th of January,'' Oduamadi told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Nnamdi Oduamadi is on a season-long loan at Varese from Italy powerhouse AC Milan.
