COD Eye Abia Comets Scalp
Published: January 11, 2013As action enters the 4th round of matches this weekend in the NNL at various centers across the country, C O D United will seek to record their first away win of the season against Abia Comets in Umuahia.
Having put 3 goals past Divine Warrior last weekend at the Onikan Stadium, the boys from Lagos would want to maintain their position on the log with a win, but a loss might just take them out of the top three depending on results from other centres.
In a chat with allnigeriasoccer.com, striker Saka Taofeek believes victory will not elude them this Saturday .
" We have prepared very well for this tie and would do much better than our last away game against Crown. I am also sure of opening my goal scoring account for the season against Abia Comet as I have been working extensively hard in training,'' the ex Bolowatan ace said.
COD sit top of Group B with Crown FC having gathered a total of 6 points from a maximum 9.
