Cagliari Plan Bid For Michael Odibe
Published: January 15, 2013
Arsenal Kiev center back Michael Odibe could make a return to the Italian championship, informs authoritative Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The newspaper says Cagliari are interested in the towering defender in the January transfer market. It would be Odibe's second spell in Italy if the transfer materializes. Recall that he previously defended the colors of Siena before joining Arsenal Kiev two summers ago.
Arsenal Kiev, reportedly in financial difficulty, might fancy selling Odibe to Cagliari to balance their books and get the needed cash injection.
Michael Odibe has told this portal he wants to leave Arsenal Kiev but is being secretive about his future destination. His contract with the Kievites expires at the end of next season. He will cost interested suitors around € 1.5 million in transfer fee.
