Enyeama Vows To Strip To His Undies If Eagles Win Afcon
Published: January 15, 2013
Vincent Enyeama has high expectations for the Super Eagles in this month's African Cup of Nations.
The Maccabi Tel Aviv goalie hopes Nigeria go all the way to the final which will be played on February 10. And if the Eagles can repeat the feat of 1980 and 1994 by winning the trophy, he has vowed to strip to his undies.
''It will be a dream come true and I am certain I will strip to my shorts. Yes, let everyone hear it that I will strip to my shorts if we are champions.
''Nigerians should have faith in us, believe the best of us and pray for us. It is not beyond our abilities to win the competition with God on our side,'' Enyeama told supersport.com.
On his plans for the future, Enyeama , who has played in five previous editions of the Nations Cup, told the website: ''I aim to keep playing until am 40. If possible into my 42nd year even. I work hard (and, ed) am focused.''
