Ex Golden Eaglet, John Nwankpa Moves To Sporting Clube de Goa

After close to eight years playing in Europe, John Chibuzo Nwankpa will continue his career in Asia.

The 28 - year - old striker, who last played for Proszowianka Proszowice in the basement division in Poland, has traveled to India to sign a one - year contract with I - League side Sporting Clube de Goa.

''Nwankpa was offered a one - year deal by Sporting Goa since the 17th of June, 2012. But he had problems securing a visa for the trip to India. The India Embassy in Warsaw finally issued him a visa on December 21, a six - month working visa.
