Exclusive: Dickson Nwakaeme Rejects 5,000 Euros Monthly Wage Offered By Lombard-Papa
Published: January 19, 2013
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com's Editorial Staff, free agent Dickson Nwakaeme has rejected a move to Hungary to link up with OTP Bank Liga side Lombard-Pápa TFC .
One of the priorities of the western Hungarian side in the winter transfer market is the recruitment of a proven goalscorer to bolster the team's attack. And the management approached Nwakaeme, but the parties could not agree on the financial terms of the deal.
Nwakaeme wanted at least 8, 000 euros as monthly wage which was below the 5,000 euros Lombard-Pápa TFC had offered him.
The striker was heavily courted by Malaysian top flight club Perak FC late last year. Again, Nwakaeme did not sign the dotted lines as he could not agree on the monetary terms of the proposed contract.
He has hinted that he would love to sign for a club in Europe in the January transfer market.
