Odemwingie To Remain With West Brom - Steve Clarke
Published: January 21, 2013
Odemwingie, 31, has been courted by Londoners Queens Park Rangers in the last few days. However, the Baggies hierarchy did not rubber-stamp his departure from the Hawthorns.
''I've spoken to Peter I had a good chat with him and all he wanted to talk about was this game with Villa. He wanted to put on a good performance and I think you saw he was motivated to play.
"I don't think that there's any decision in his mind . There was interest from QPR. Harry told everybody! It doesn't unsettle good professionals, though. They understand that when it gets to January, it's silly season.
"Clubs come in, teams are linked with everyone. Someone saw me at Liverpool recently and assumed I was in for a Liverpool player. No-one will leave, there's no reason,'' Steve Carke was quoted as saying by goal.com.
Peter Odemwingie's 83rd minute strike salvaged a point for West Brom on Saturday against Aston Villa.
