Chigozie Udoji Declared Surplus To Requirement By Platanias

An official announcement on the departure of Chigozie Udoji from Super League club Platanias is expected to be made in the coming days, writes the online edition of Greek sports radio station, Sport FM.
The 26 - year - old former Bulgaria youth - teamer is one of five players in the squad that has been shown the exit door.
Udoji's behavior last weekend before the game against Atromitos got him into hot water. He verbally attacked coach Angelos Anastasiadis. Before then, precisely last December, he was expelled from training for not obeying the instructions of the coach.
On the field, he was a huge success at Platanias. Despite playing as a midfielder, he is the team's leading scorer in the championship with 4 goals in 17 games.
Meanwhile, new signing Philip Chidi Onyemah made his debut for Platanias in the away game against Atromitos this past weekend. He replaced Markos Maragoudakis after 60 minutes.
