Exclusive: Simon Zenke In Turkey Negotiating With Super League Club
Published: January 23, 2013
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com's editorial staff, former Nigeria youth international Simon Zenke might have played his last game for French club Nancy.
Zenke has not been named by coach Patrick Gabriel in his 19 - man squad for the Coupe de France tie against Nice on Wednesday, January 23.
''Simon Zenke is in Turkey at the moment, that's why he was omitted from the squad that plays Nice. Though the deal is not concluded, it is almost 90 percent certain that he will sign for the Turkish Premier League club he is negotiating with,'' a top source informed allnigeriasoccer.com.
Simon Zenke is tied to the colors of Nancy until June 30, 2014. He has been strongly linked with a transfer to Super League new boys Akhisar Belediyespor. Transfer market experts value him at around €1.25 million.
