Andrew Abalogu To Test With Sandnes Ulf
Published: January 23, 2013
Barely two months after agreeing terms with Nigeria powerhouse Enyimba of Aba, 20 - year - old striker Andrew Abalogu has been invited to train with Norwegian Tippeligaen club Sandnes Ulf.
Manager Asle Andersen wants to bolster the Sandnes Ulf squad due to injuries to some of the players in the first team and will run the rule over Abalogu before he is offered a contract.
''This is a player we have been recommended by an agent. And then we need to see him before we commit to anything,'' says CEO Tom Espedal to aftenposten.no.
Andrew Abalogu's nine goals for ABS last season helped the team escape relegation. The youngster was named Rookie of the Year last October by the League Bloggers.
