Exclusive: Dinamo Moscow, Krylya Sovetov In Two Horse Race For Kehinde Fatai
Published: January 25, 2013
Finally, former Nigeria youth international Kehinde Fatai has decided to speak on his contract situation with Astra Giurgiu. The 22 - year - old striker could leave the Romanian club in the summer as a free agent if he is not sold in the next six days.
Kehinde Fatai is not lacking suitors. As things stand, there is a two horse race for his signature. The bone of contention is that the Russian clubs that are interested in him - Dinamo Moscow and Krylya Sovetov - are thrashing out a transfer fee with Astra Giurgiu.
''I am most likely to move to the Russian Premier League by next week. Dinamo Moscow and Krylya Sovetov, who are 13th in league have made enquiries on my availability. They are presently discussing with my club. Tomorrow or latest Monday, I have to communicate my answer to my club. Both teams are good clubs with good tradition, so anyone God chooses for me is okay,'' Fatai told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
There is no doubt over Fatai's abilities. With 8 goals in 19 matches,he is the third highest goalscorer in the Romanian top division.
