Official: Chigozie Udoji Pens Six - Month Contract With Atromitos
Published: January 25, 2013Nigerian attacking midfielder Chigozie Udoji ended his collaboration with Greek Super League club Platania during the week. It did not take him long before he found a new team.
Capital side Atromitos, who finished third in the Super League last term, have officially announced the acquisition of the former Bulgaria youth - teamer on a six month deal, with an optional for an additional season written into the contract.
Speaking to the official website after penning the deal, Chigozie Udoji said: ''I am very happy that I joined a club that is a model organization and play in the Super League. I made a very important step in my career and I will try to justify management's expectations of my coach Nikos Anastopoulos. I am ready from all sides to meet my obligations and help Atromitos to meet the targets set.''
26 - year - old Udoji will play with the number five jersey for the remainder of the season. He is likely to be in the Atromitos squad which faces Panathinaikos in two days time.
