Official: Oldham Athletic Sign Iwelumo, Obita

Through a statement on the official website, League One outfit Oldham Athletic have announced the capture of Anglo - Nigerian midfielder Jordan Obita, who arrives Boundary Park on loan for the next one month.
19- year -old Obita, an England youth - teamer, has been handed the number 15 jersey and is eligible to play against Everton in the fifth round of the FA Cup on February 16.
Previously, Jordan Obita had loan spells with Portsmouth, Barnet and Gillingham.
The Latics have also secured the signature of experienced Scotland internationalist Chris Iwelumo.The 34 - year -old striker is on loan at Oldham Athletic until the end of the season.
"I am experienced and hopefully I can use that in a positive way as it is a young squad here.
"The players showed recently they have the team spirit, endeavour, work rate and the right philosophy about how to play.
"The gaffer (Paul Dickov) is a great character and leader. I am excited and looking to build on what is already here,'' Iwelumo, who becomes a free agent in the summer, told the official website.
