Published: February 05, 2013
Nigeria skipper Joseph Yobo has maintained there are no favorites in Wednesday's eagerly anticipated African Nations Cup semi - final tie between the Super Eagles and the Mali National Team.
''We know the Malians, they are going to be a very tough team to play against. And they know us as well.
"I think there are no favorites. We are very highly motivated and we know they are as well. This is the bridge that we have between here and the final so we are going to do everything that we can to win,'' Yobo told reporters.
Yobo, who is playing in his sixth African Cup of Nations tournament, has admitted that the squad is not lacking self belief following the ouster of nailed - on pre-tournament favorites Ivory Coast two days ago.
''We won a big game, we have the confidence, we have the belief. So we are going to come out very strong, give everything we have and hopefully win the game.
"There is no big difference on how we play, we are both very physical and tactically strong so it's going to be an interesting game,'' said Yobo.
