Odemwingie Fined 75,000 Pounds
Published: February 08, 2013
It has been revealed by British media that Peter Odemwingie has been fined 75,000 pounds for breaking the internal regulations of West Brom after he forcefully tried to negotiate a winter transfer to Queens Park Rangers without the approval of the leadership of the Baggies.
The Daily Mail reports that the Nigeria international has been fined two weeks wages for driving to London in order to continue negotiations with Queens Park Rangers on transfer deadline day. The Londoners refused to discuss with the former Bendel Insurance forward.
Odemwingie, who has netted 5 goals in 18 EPL matches this season, has been reinstated to the first team. Thus, he is available for selection when West Brom travel to face Liverpool on Monday.
