Obiora Nwankwo : I Chose Cluj Because I Want To Play In Europe
Published: February 08, 2013
Super Eagles midfielder Obiora Nwankwo has commented on his loan move to Europa League campaigners CFR Cluj to Italian transfer market portal Tuttomercatoweb.com.
''I chose Cluj because I want to play in Europe. And because I wanted to change the environment as things did not go down well with me in Inter Milan.
''Playing against Inter in Europe? Opportunity to review my former teammates that have not seen for a while,'' says Nwankwo to Tuttomercatoweb.
Obiora Nwankwo will join his new teammates immediately after the African Cup of Nations on Sunday. The Romanian club can purchase him outright on expiration of the six - month loan agreement.
The former ECO FC star is valued at 800,000 euros by transfer market experts.
