Abiola Dauda On His Way To Red Star Belgrade
Published: February 09, 2013
Mozzartsport.com is reporting that in the last hours of the Serbian transfer window, sports director Zoran Stojadinovic has pulled a major transfer coup by securing the services of Abiola Dauda, who is now a free agent after he chose not to renew his expiring contract with Swedish club Kalmar.
The hypothesis is that Dauda will arrive Belgrade on Monday and formalize a two - and - a - half - year contract if he agrees terms with the leadership of Red Star Belgrade.
In the last few months, Dauda had been on the wishlist of Alania (Russia), Lech Poznan„ and an unnamed Bundesliga club. However, none of the speculated transfers materialized.
He ended the 2012 campaign as the fourth highest goalscorer in the Swedish championship, with 14 hits in 25 matches.
