The coach of Dynamo Kiev, Oleg Blokhin has hinted that the Ukrainian vice - champions will sanction Nigerian striker Brown Ideye if he does not return to Kiev on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Ideye returned with the Super Eagles to Abuja on the orders of the Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan. He did not feature in Dynamo Kiev's 1-1 draw with Bordeaux on Thursday night.
''It is necessary to take some kind of sanctions, as the man left the team. Sanctions are necessary to force players to return to the club on time. Ambrose was back in time because of Celtic. He played in the final of the African Cup on the 10th and is already out on the field for Celtic on the 12th,'' Blokhin told footboom.com.
Nigeria international Lukman Haruna was on target for Dynamo Kiev against Bordeaux. His goal put the Kievites in the lead after 20 minutes. Three minutes later, Ludovic Obraniak equalized for the French team.
