Emenike In Spain With Spartak Moscow
Published: February 18, 2013
Just as Emenike silenced critics at the tournament in South Africa, he wants to prove himself in the remaining matches in the Russian Premier League.
Championat.com with reference to the official website of Spartak Moscow quoted Emenike as saying: ''I am happy to have won the tournament in South Africa.
''For me, this victory is very important, but we must move on. Now all my thoughts are with Spartak Moscow.
''I look forward to the final segment of the Russian Championship, where I want be play not less than at the African Cup.''
Emmanuel Emenike did not play the final match at the African Cup of Nations after he got injured in the semi-final tie against Mali.
''I can not say how long I will be out of action. I am just going to be examined,'' Emenike told championat.com.
Emenike will share the same room with his friend and Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris, who has congratulated him for winning the African Cup of Nations.
