Sunderland, Swansea To Challenge Liverpool For Efe Ambrose

Celtic defender Efe Ambrose could be on his way to the English Premier League in the summer transfer market, according to reports in Scotland.
It is an open secret that several scouts representing clubs in the Premier League were at the African Cup of Nations tournament in South Africa with a mandate to run the rule over some of Africa's brightest talents.
The online edition of authoritative British newspaper The Scottish Sun is reporting that Liverpool, Sunderland and Swansea are in a three - way battle for the signature of Efe Ambrose , who proved his mettle in South Africa and was named in the official team of the tournament by CAF.
Under contract with Glasgow Celtic until June 2015, Ambrose could cost interested suitors around five million pounds in transfer fee.
The 24 - year - old Super Eagle netted his second goal of the season against Dundee United this past weekend.
