Victor Moses Looking Forward To Brazil
Published: February 19, 2013
Victor Moses, who notched a brace against Ethiopia at the African Cup of Nations, has told the official website of Fifa that he is looking forward to this summer's Confederations Cup, where Nigeria are pitted in the same group with Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti.
''It means a lot of me, but not only for me, for the whole nation it means a lot to represent Nigeria in Brazil. We are all looking forward to it. We are delighted to be going there,'' Moses told fifa.com.
The Chelsea winger continued: ''I am looking forward to playing against [Spain]. It will be wonderful, not just for me, but for the other players as well. That we have the chance to play against some of the greatest players in the world is terrific.
''We are very happy, but the most important thing was to win the Nations Cup. With having actually done that, we are looking forward to Brazil.''
The tournament in Brazil will hold from June 15 - 30. This is the second time the Nigeria selection will be participating at the prestigious tourney after their debut 18 years ago.
