Official: Dele Adeleye Pens Three - Year Deal With Kuban Krasnodar
Published: February 21, 2013
Adeleye, who was a member of the Super Eagles squad at the 2010 World Cup, impressed coach Leonid Kuchuk during tests and has been rewarded with a deal which keeps him in Southern Russia until 2016.
Recall that the 24 - year - old central defender unilaterally terminated his contract with Ukrainian club Tavriya citing breach of contract.
He had not played an official game since July 2012. Hence, it was logical for him to undergo trials with Kuban before being offered a contract.
Dele Adeleye previously defended the colors of Shooting Stars, Sparta Rotterdam and Metalurh Donetsk in addition to his stint with Tavriya.
