Joseph Yobo Admits Kasimpasa Game Was Difficult
Published: February 25, 2013
Fenerbahce defeated Kasimpasa 3- 1 on Sunday to move within 3 points of league leaders and bitter rivals Galatasaray.
Nigeria skipper Joseph Yobo played his first match for The Yellow Canaries in the Super League this calender year.
In his post match comments, Yobo has admitted that despite the three points in their kitty and the scoreline, the match was far from easy.
He told the official website, fenerbahce.org: ''It was a tough match, we conceded an early goal. We are a very good and strong team and this was reflected in our character. ''
Going further, the Nations Cup winner said he was following the performance of Fenerbahce while in South Africa and thanked the fans for their support throughout the game with Kasimpasa.
Note that Kasimpasa's only goal was scored by Kalu Uche after two minutes. He is now the top scorer in the Super League with 13 strikes.
