No LSK Contract For Peter Ijeh
Published: March 01, 2013
Free agent Peter Ijeh will not be offered a contract by Swedish club Ljungskile SK, writes fotbolltransfers.com with reference to Bohusläningen.
Ijeh had been expected to train with LSK for about a month before a decision is made on his transfer. But after playing an hour in a practice match, the Superettan club have closed the door on the former Malmo FF ace.
'' It will take too long to get him ready for play and we do not want to take chances with an old player and with the risk of injury,'' says coach Tor Arne Fredheim to Bohusläningen.
35 - year - old Ijeh has played for GAIS, Malmo, IFK Göteborg and Syrianska FC in Sweden.
He netted an impressive 75 goals in 161 matches for those teams.
