NFF Thumbs Up Women League Board

President of NFF Alhaji Aminu Maigari disclosed this in his speech at the Nigerian Women Football League congress held on Thursday 28, February 2013 at Idyll Fountain Hotel, Zone 7, Wuse, Abuja.
Maigari who was represented by Dr. Sanusi Mohammed at the event expressed his delight over the orderly manner NWLB executed all its programmes in the last soccer season, saying “NFF is proud of Women League Board and its ready to give them more support”.
The President of NFF however, singled out Chief Dili Onyedinma, the Chairman of the board and other board members for commendation for their effort towards moving the game to the next level.
Draws for 2012/13 Nigeria Women Football Professional League was also conducted transparently and peacefully for 20 professional league clubs participating.
Also speaking after the event vice Chairman of NWLB, Debo Adeoye on behalf of the board thanked the executive of NFF led by Alhaji Aminu Maigari for their support and collaboration towards moving women football forward in Nigeria saying “this congress would not have been possible but for the financial intervention of NFF”.
