Published: March 01, 2013
AGF will be without the services of Edafe Egbedi, 19, for at least a month, the official website of the Danish club has informed.
The winger has been named in the Flying Eagles provisional 30 - man squad for the African Youth Championship billed to be staged in Algeria from March 16 - 30.
He is now expected to fly to the training camp of the Flying Eagles in Tunisia in the coming days.
If Egbedi is chosen by coach Sam Obuh in Nigeria's 21 - man roster, it would be his second appearance for the Flying Eagles at the tourney.
Nigeria are drawn in the same group with Mali, Gabon and Congo. Algeria, Benin, Ghana and Egypt are in the other group.
The top four teams qualify for the Fifa Under 20s in Turkey this summer.
Edafe Egbedi has made four appearances for The Whites in the Superliga.
