Solomon Owello Eager To Start New Season
Published: March 03, 2013
Undoubtedly, the 2012 season was Solomon Owello's best since his arrival in Norway five years ago. The 24 - year - old IK Start midfielder scooped the award for Player of the Season in the First Division.
IK Start had lost their top flight status at the end of the 2011 season. But they were promoted back to the Tippeligaen after winning the first division title 12 months later.
Solomon Owello has set his sights on a credible performance in the league and is not ruling out the team from qualifying for Europe in the coming season.
''We returned from Spain last week. We are really looking forward to the start of the championship next month. I hope we do well and move to another level in the coming season,'' says Owello to allnigeriasoccer.com.
