Real Betis May Not Release Nosa For Kenya Match
Published: March 04, 2013
Real Betis midfielder Nosa Igiebor is stuck in Nigeria and is in a race to return to his club. That could happen in the coming days, writes authoritative Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo..
The Spanish Embassy had earlier rejected Nosa's work permit application . The translation of documents from English to Spanish and his birth certificate which had been a stumbling block has been resolved.
Those documents will be delivered by Nosa to the Spanish embassy on Monday, according to estadiodeportivo.com.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria international continues to maintain his fitness by training on his own.
Coach Stephen Keshi is expected to name Nosa in his squad for the World Cup qualifying fixture against Kenya in Calabar on March 23.
But Real Betis want the understanding of the Nigeria Football Federation to avoid Nosa coming to Africa, which could delay him from returning to Spain.
