Relieved Jude Nworuh Scores For Daughter On Mothers Day!
Published: March 10, 2013
AC Horsens striker Jude Nworuh was on target in the 2- 0 win over ob Odense on Sunday, but had to be stretchered from the field in an unconscious state. Fortunately, he recovered quickly.
''I feel so much better now. I went up in a duel with two OB Odense players, and one of them hit my head with his own. It was certainly not intentional, and that's football, but it was uncomfortable,'' says Jude to bold.dk.
He continued: ''I was away for half a minute, was just a little dizzy. I am very happy because something similar happened to me before - when I played for FC Midtjylland in Randers - and then I got a fractured skull. I was a little worried that it had happened again. ''
Instead, a smiling Nworuh is rather pleased with his second goal of the season.
''I am very, very happy. First of all, the victory, but also for the goal. My daughter Ashley will be two years on Tuesday, and I had promised her I would score, so I'm obviously very happy and hope there will be more goals now, '' says Nworuh.
AC Horsens next play FC Copenhagen, and the striker is fit for the showdown.
