Ikechukwu Uche Not Getting Carried Away By Brace
Published: March 11, 2013
Despite netting a brace against Sporting Gijon on Sunday, Nigerian striker Ikechukwu Uche is not carried away and is looking forward to Villarreal's next game in the Segunda Division against Huesca this coming Saturday.
''The key is to continue with the momentum, because when you win it brings a lot of confidence.
''Victory against Sporting should serve to continue that trust. We should seek another win next weekend against Huesca,'' Uche was quoted as saying by superdeporte.es.
Ikechukwu Uche is the leading scorer for The Yellow Submarine in Spain's second - tier, after scoring 8 goals in 21 matches.
Villarreal, who lost their top flight status at the end of the 2011 - 2012 campaign, are only 5 points off an automatic promotion place.
