Adejo's Transfer Depends On Reggina
Published: March 22, 2013
Former Nigeria youth international Daniel Adejo is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the Serie B.
In the January transfer window, the 23 - year - old was courted by teams in the top division. The window shut on January 31 and he remained a player of Reggina.
Simone Cavoni, the agent of Adejo, has told the press in Italy that the player's future depends on his present employers Reggina.
He told Tuttomercatoweb.com: ''Daniel is doing well in Reggio Calabria, the club is satisfied with his performance although at the moment it is too early to talk about possible market movements.
''At the time there was nothing to do with other clubs, otherwise Reggina would be informed of any negotiations. Adejo certainly is a good player, for a possible transfer in the summer all depends on the club because the guy has a contract with the company's president Foti.''
Adejo was linked with Bologna, Parma, Catania, Genoa and Sporting Braga in the winter transfer market.
This season, he has made 30 starts in the Serie B, the most by any Reggina outfield player.
