Paul Obiefule Undergoing Trials With Assyriska.
Published: March 28, 2013
Nigeria international Paul Obiefule is in Sweden undergoing trials with Assyriska. Following the expiration of his contract with KuPS, he has been searching for a club without success
Club manager Aydin Aho has disclosed that they are hoping to bolster the squad with the signing of a central midfielder before the close of the transfer window.
''A central midfielder and an outside forward is what we want in a perfect world. I am sure that we will get at least one player, that we need it to be healthy.
''Right now we do not have a full squad. How serious is the injury situation. Those who are injured will not be back next week. We need to bring in players,'' Aho told fotbolltransfers.com.
Obiefule started his career in Europe with Viborg then later switched to Lyn Oslo, where he played two and a half years.
In addition, he has represented Hønefoss, Lillestrom and Finnish KuPS.
