Innocent Emeghara Confident Siena Can Avoid Relegation
Published: April 05, 2013
Swiss international Innocent Emeghara is positive Siena can beat the drop at the end of the season.
The Bianconeri occupy the 18th position in the standings and need eight more games to save their top flight status.
''As soon as I arrived, I quickly realized that this team could do it. The road is steep, but salvation is possible. We have to try, to the end, hold on,'' Emeghara told Fedelissimoonline.it.
Despite arriving Siena in the winter transfer market from Lorient, Emeghara is the team's top scorer in the Italian championship with 6 strikes and this has been appreciated by the supporters.
''I'm happy, it's normal, though not completely, because in the first place is good for Siena.
''Nice that people recognize me, ask me for an autograph or wants my photograph.
''I appreciate so much affection. But I am not content : I want more for myself and for the team,'' said Emeghara to the website.
