Agboebina Osi Lucky Scores 18th Goal Of The Season
Published: April 06, 2013
In-form Nigerian striker Agboebina Osi Lucky netted his 18th goal of the season as St Georges defeated Mellieha 3 - 1 in the Maltese Second Division on Saturday.
Zebbug Rangers have already been crowned league champions with four games to spare.
With three more teams fighting for the remaining promotion spots, Agboebina sees no reason why St Georges won't step up a division when the last game is played on April 28th.
''I am confident we will get promoted to the first division. This is not the right time to talk about my contract extension.
''My aim now is for us to be promoted and that would be possible if we win at least two of our remaining matches. I know we can make it,'' says Agboebina to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Clubs in the Premier League and First Division are monitoring Agboebina's transfer situation.
