Published: April 08, 2013
Real Betis midfielder Nosa Igiebor has scored himself high after the 5 - 1 victory over Granada this past weekend.
The Nigeria international had arguably his best performance for Real Betis since he joined the Seville based side in August 2012.
And he was applauded by teammates, coach and supporters after the match at Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes.
''Friday's game was my best game. If I get to continue, I can give better performance than I've given. I felt good before the game and during the meeting I felt too good,'' Igiebor told Betis official website.
Next for Real Betis is the derby against Sevilla , with local bragging rights at stake.
''It's an important game for the team and for the fans and I'll fight to make the team and help my teammates. It'll be a tough game but we will do everything in order to win,'' he stressed.
In conclusion, Nosa Igiebor is optimistic that Real Betis, who are seventh in the championship, can qualify for at least the Europa League.
''I think so because there is a good group, I feel at home. People helping me and I feel great on this team. There is a great atmosphere in the dressing room. Working hard and with the environment there, I see the team in Europe.''
