Golden Eaglets Successful In CAN Under 17 Opener

Golden Eaglets striker Isaac Success announced his arrival on the world stage at Grande Stade Marrakech on Sunday after he scored a double brace as Nigeria defeated Ghana 6 - 1 at the CAF Under 17 championship.
Bernard Bulbwa and Kelechi Iheanacho were also on target for the nailed on pre - tournament favorites. Ghana scored a consolation goal through Yaw Yeboah.
With the landslide victory over the Ghana Under 17s, Nigeria lead the Group B standings with three points.
In the group's other match, Ivory Coast had to come from behind to draw 1 - 1 with Congo.
In his post match comments, Manu Garba, handler of the Eaglets said: ''It is a good start for us, but we remain focused because we have not won anything yet.
''We are happy and we are looking forward to a good tournament and by the grace of God, we shall qualify for the World Cup as African champions.''
Nigeria, three time world champions, will lock horns with Ivory Coast on Wednesday.
